Fuad Nashori is associate professor in psychology based at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) in Yogyakarta. Together with his colleague, Prof. Dr. Subandi from Universitas Gadjah Mada and Chairman of Islamic Psychology Association of Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI) 2011-2020, Dr. Nashori is acknowledged as locomotive of Islamic psychology of Indonesia. Dr. Nashori is active in being a lecturer, researcher, writer, public speaker, and an organizer—especially related to Islamic psychology, social psychology, and research methods. He attained a doctorate degree from Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung as well as double master degrees from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for Faith and Philosophy degree, and from Universitas Gadjah Mada for Psychology degree. He acts as a lecturer, a supervisor, and an examiner in UNPAD, UGM, UIN Walisongo Semarang, UII Yogyakarta, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Many books of his that have been published cover psychology, marriage, parenting, and creativity. He actively conducts some research every year related to forgiveness for ethnicity, improving happiness, creative process, and cognitive behavior therapy. He had been involved in international conferences as well held in China, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur. Being so active, he also received some rewards and scholarships from UII, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. He is a father of five children.
