Dr. Abdul Latif received his first degree, Master and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. His research interests include fatigue, fretting, wear and stress analysis by using finite element methods. He was the head of the centre for techology (oil dan gas) teaching factory, Faculty of Engineering Technology, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), before joining Petronas Malaysia as a research and development engineer.
