Shukran Abd Rahman is associate professor at Department of Psychology, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He attained Doctor of Occupational Psychology degree from Murdoch University, Australia. Shukran specialises in Occupational Psychology, and lectures in Personnel Psychology, Psychometrics, Organisational Change and Development, Career Development, and Issues in Personnel and Organisational Psychology. His research areas include career development; organization development; organizational behaviour; changes and development in higher education; employability and graduateness of students in higher learning institutions. He is currently the Dean of Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences; Coordinator for Graduateness Research Unit, IIUM, and an Associate Research Fellow at the National Higher Education Research Institute (IPPTN). He was the Head, Department of Psychology at IIUM, and a Visiting Academic in the Department of Educational Psychology at Taibah University, Saudi Arabia; and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
